Hozelock 320 Pond Air Pump

Iam on my second of these pump, they are very good but not completely water tight. The first one failed after 2 weeks when I looked inside it
there was a lot of rain water, but I like the pump as the supplier had not got another one I got my money...

I purchased this as a replacement for two mini pumps that I had coupled together to act as a fish saver in winter when the pond (10ft x 8ft x 2ft, 4500 litres) freezes over. They were barely enough to keep a layer of air under the ice. Then the waterfall pump failed, a major task to replace so I had to increase aeration PDQ and this little beauty does the job very well. I purchased this because my rena air 600 recently gave up as they seem to do after 18 months or so, I also wanted to try something that can pump to more depth as my 8 foot tank is just over 2 feet deep and most pumps seem not to like this sort of depth...

Bought this today but not from amazon which i regret as cost more. Looks robust enough to last outside.
