Looks very like the more expensive models, without the labels - although I suppose there may be some differences I am not aware of. Seems well made; the motor is quite loud.
Our pond is very silted up (12 years-worth, at least), and the silt is very fine, so I am vacuuming it into large 50l tubs and leaving them to settle overnight before vacuuming the water on top back into the pond, or into the drain if the pond level is high. I purchased a Pondxpert Cleanopond a year ago. I have used it for the pond on one occasion, I found it was not very effective, it takes up too little sludge from the pond too slowly, and I spent more time waiting for the drum to empty and the vacuum to re-start than actually cleaning. The instructions that come with the vacuum are on a single sheet of paper and very basic, there is no troubleshooting information for when things go wrong, additionally there is no contact information or telephone numbers...
