Rating Blanket weed removal from pond
Review by Cosy on June 23, 2017My pond is approximately 2.5x2x0.4 metres. To work out how many litres the equation was 2.5x2x0.4x1000. This worked out at 2000 litres. 10 grams is required per 125 litres, so 2000 litres divided by 125=16. So 16 x 10 grams meant I required 160 grams of the 200 gram pot. I made the mixture in a watering can and poured it into the pond. It turns cloudy white. 4 days on and it's working well you can see the blanking weed disappearing in the attached photos. Really pleased with the results so far. -

Review by oldcynic on July 17, 2012I have been using this product for about a month in my small goldfish pond which has a mixture of plants and has been plagued by blanket week for the past few years, as soon as summer arrives and the temperature rises it multiplies like mad choking the pond and the pump.
I've tried numerous other "solutions" over this time - Viresco, barley straw extract, Pond Balance, Phos-Kit to name a few but none of these made the slightest difference to the weed which I had to remove by hand every week to allow...
