sorry but actually did completely nothing to get rid of the Duckweed

I purchased this to add to an additional algae cleaner and in conjunction of both , plus a larger dose, the feature cleared within approx 4 weeks. I will return to the recommended doses in the future and hopefully it will remain algae free.

The jury's out on this at the moment. It seems to slow the rate of algal growth but doesn't prohibit it. Will continue to use and monitor performance but in any event, it's reasonably priced and avoids the need for barley straw bales, etc.

I read some of the reviews and there were mixed feelings as to whether this worked. For our pond it was incredible! within one week it got rid of this horrible green frothy slime that was on the surface of the pond. It is now crystal clear again and were still in the summer so it has definitely worked. I think it will work on our blanket weed problem too, but that may take a little longer to clear, excellent product! Will buy again.
